Description
I am a mother of 4. I love to cook and to do house work, like cleaning, packing and arranging the wardrobe and drawers. I find it therapeutic. I like the idea of opening the wardrobe and see where everything is. During lockdown I decided to take walking as a form of exercise. I used to hate it, and honestly can't believe how much I love and enjoy it now. I also love DIY and decorating, arranging flowers, doing the garden, if it's not too hot. I also love to read. Anything, a book, newspaper, online news, magazines. I believe one can never learn enough, anything that would enhance my knowledge, I am up for it.
I love taking care of people. I believe it’s a privilege for me to be in a position to help someone. I therefore, do it with pride and a lot of love. Honesty is the most important thing to me. I respect other people’s choices in life, whether it’s religion or lack thereof or anything at all. I understand the importance of privacy and to receive care with utmost dignity. The service user’s needs and choice always comes first in my delivery of care. I do what is right all the time, every time. I strive to be a small factor in the health care of service users, that makes a big difference and brighten their day. I love what I do. I care about people I care for, because I believe, you can’t care, if you don’t care.
I have worked in the care industry for almost 14 years. Doing all aspects of care, both clinical and none clinical. I take my job seriously. I have worked in Care Homes, with the elderly with dementia. Day care centres, with young people with learning disabilities and complex health care needs. Domiciliary care work, with patience who have been CHC referred and some who are private. I do my work with diligence and do everything by the book.
